Chief Executive Officer
Patrick-Bill Daniels, B-Unit’s CEO and a proud native of Chicago’s North Lawndale community, draws on his journey through the justice system, mentorship, education, and a career in violence prevention and reentry. He founded B-Unit on the belief that people can change with opportunity, support, and someone who believes in them.
Through whole-family support, transitional planning, education, employment resources, and family and community connections, B-Unit helps justice-impacted individuals rebuild—so men return home with purpose, families grow stronger, children see new possibilities, and communities thrive.
Administrative Assistant and Marketing Manager
Lidya Charles supports The B-Unit NFP’s day-to-day operations through administrative coordination, documentation, and workflow management. She helps keep projects organized, track tasks and follow-ups, support program activities, and strengthen the systems that help the organization serve its community. She is passionate about creating organized, efficient processes that help teams work together and make a meaningful impact.
